If you know me well, you’ll know that flying has given me anxiety. No doubt a spiritual attack. As I boarded the plane from Atlanta to Dallas I had an entire row to myself. I began to pray to calm my nerves and felt Jesus saying, “I left these seats empty because that’s where I’ll sit.”

From that moment, all anxiety was gone and my trip was amazing. On my eight hour flight I sat beside a woman who goes to Andy Stanley’s church in Alpharetta, Georgia. It was encouraging to hear her story and share mine with her. Truly God is moving all over the earth!

I arrived a little over 48 hours ago and so far all has been well. I’m getting settled into the Swedish way of life and public transportation! I’ve given up my need for sugar and creamer in my coffee and will no doubt lose weight!

Yesterday I spent most of the day with an American who went through the Leadership Academy and married a Norwegian girl from here. He owns a classic American barber shop in downtown Södermalm (an island in central Stockholm), also known as hipster paradise! He showed me around the city and helped me understand many of the cultural differences. Afterwards I had dinner with his family, so grateful!

I’ll send out an update of my life and ministry at the beginning of each month. If you would like more consistent updates of my life you can follow me on different social media sites or subscribe to my blog!

Mission SOS

Pastor Johannes’ vision for the year is to see the life changing power of the Holy Spirit invade the city. He says, everyday is an adventure when you’re being led by the Spirit!

Our church is in the heart of the city. And has a heart for the city. Every night this week we’ve had two hour long prayer meetings. We’re seeking God’s face and favor as we continue to spread the Gospel this year in Stockholm and around the world.

Next Monday, I start school and will dive deeper into local ministry!
