Thank you so much for taking time to read my update and be a part of my journey here in Sweden! I’m so very grateful for each and every person that God has put in my life and that includes YOU!
In my last update, I mentioned that I would start serving as Johannes’ personal assistant — this has made my schedule much busier but also very rewarding! I’ve made more PowerPoints this month then the other 28 years put together (sorry mom no sound effects). Not only that but I got to travel to Switzerland to check on one of our SOS Churches in Bienne! What a beautiful country, amazing people, and a great opportunity to see the blessings and struggles of a European church plant!
Thursday night refugee care has quickly become one of my favorite nights of the week. Out of need, I began leading worship for the adult Muslim refugees. Wow, God’s presences shows up in such a special way and every week people are being saved!
PRAYER REQUEST: I’m preaching the Gospel this Thursday at refugee care so please pray that their hearts would receive the message of Christ and that lives would be forever changed!
School has also been great. By chance, Johannes taught more than usual this month. His wisdom is very profound and is shaping and stretching my thoughts on life and ministry. We’ve had a huge emphasis on New Testament mission strategies and reaching the lost. I’m mind blown at the amount of revelatory teaching that can come out of the word of God!
Other than that I’ve been making a lot of new friends. Swedes are interesting when it comes to community. Many people have a hard shell on the outside but once they let you in you become family. They love having people over for dinner and coffee so it’s been a blessing to get to meet so many families!
One day I was at the mall with some friends and I met a guy who graduated from the same High School as me — Benton High School! What are the odds?! All I can say is that God is definitely orchestrating relationships here and I’m thankful for it!
Other than that I’ve shaved my beard, lost weight, and read many books! Scroll through the pictures from the above mentioned stories!!
